- Email address — if you subscribe to our weekly update. Used solely for sending you the update and nothing else.
- Scam checker input — if you use our scam checker tool, the text you submit is sent to Claude AI for analysis. We do not store the text you submit.
Information Collected Automatically
- Server logs — standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) retained by our hosting provider (Vercel) per their privacy policy.
- No cookies for tracking — we do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technologies.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Email addresses are used only to send the weekly update you subscribed to
- Server logs are used for security, debugging, and understanding aggregate traffic patterns
- We do not build user profiles or sell data to third parties
- We do not run targeted advertising
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Vercel — hosting and deployment. Subject to Vercel's Privacy Policy
- Supabase — database hosting. Stores opportunity data, subscriber emails, and site content
- Anthropic (Claude AI) — content generation and analysis. Scam checker submissions are processed through the Claude API
- Resend — email delivery for the weekly update
4. Data Retention
- Email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Unsubscribe links are included in every email.
- Scam checker submissions are not stored after analysis is complete.
- Server logs are retained per Vercel's standard retention policy.
5. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Unsubscribe from the weekly update at any time via the link in any email
- Request deletion of your email address from our database
- Request information about what data we hold about you
